There Is A Field
Join us on Friday, March 19th, for a powerful film and interview with the filmmaker.
There Is a Field tells the story of Asel Asleh, a 17-year old Palestinian peace activist, murdered by Israeli police. His story is performed by Black Lives Matter activists reflecting on the parallels between Asel's story and the experiences of people of color in the US. It is a deeply moving film, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to share it with you.
Following the movie, filmmaker Jen Marlowe and one of the actors will join us for an interview. It's sure to be a thoughtful and engaging conversation!
To allow for viewing on your own schedule, we will have an "Open Screening" beginning on Saturday, March 13th. We will post a link and password on our Facebook page.
The Community Screening, followed by an interview with filmmaker Jen Marlowe and one of the actors, will be Friday, March 19th. The film begins at 12:30pm, with the interview to follow at 1:45pm.
