Interview with Dr. Akbar Ahmed

On October 20, the Indiana Center for Middle East Peace hosted Dr. Akbar Ahmed, the Ibn Khaldun Chair of Islamic Studies at American University. In addition to giving an excellent informal talk in the morning, and a more formal presentation that evening, Dr. Ahmed graciously sat down for an interview with Dr. Michael Spath. The two enjoyed a brief discussion of the influence of 4th century historiographer and historian Ibn Khaldun and 19th century sociologist Max Weber on Dr. Ahmed's own thinking and work. Please enjoy!
