Join in an evening of hope featuring Izdihar Kassis, director of Together For the Family, hosted by ICMEP, Creative Women of the World, and Together for the Family, Lebanon.
In Lebanon, Kassis works with Syrian refugees living in tents, where Together For the Family offers many services, including medical and dental care, informal children's education, entrepreneurial training in sewing, cosmetology, and woodworking. Such work is challenging no matter the circumstance, but difficulties are exacerbated by Lebanon's decimated economy.
The evening will include a silent auction supporting Together For the Family, a delicious Lebanese dinner, and Izdihar Kassis discussing the work to be done and answering your questions. You'll have a great time, enjoy tasty food, and learn how you can help make a difference for families fleeing violence - what could be better?
