Help Syrian Refugees

Fort Wayne residents Amar Masri and Sam Jarjour, and Los Angeles filmmaker Elias Matar traveled to Austria, Hungary, Serbia and Macedonia in September, 2015. Their goals: [1] purchasing and distributing relief kits to the refugees; [2] volunteering with organizations like Caritas, Catholic Relief Service, which is at the forefront of the relief effort in SE Europe; [3] creating a documentary about the refugees’ journey. Find out how we in Fort Wayne can help alleviate the suffering of the refugees and make their transition a little bit easier. This event is free and open to the public.
