Dr. Gilbert is a Norwegian humanitarian, activist, anesthesiologist. He did volunteer medical work in Gaza during the four most recent Israeli assaults. For this work has been hailed by the Norwegian government and appointed a Commander of the Order of St. Olav by King Harald V.
