Evening with Rev. Loren McGrail

On November 18, we'll be hosting the Rev. Loren McGrail for what is sure to be a moving and fascinating conversation. Loren is a minister in the United Church of Christ, a poet, and an artist. She served as a mission co-worker for the UCC and the Disciples of Christ from 2013-2018 in Palestine/Israel. Her writing most frequently deals with the issues of justice for Palestinians, and for immigrants and refugees based on her witness at the San Diego border. A main focus for her discussion with us will be her work recording oral histories of the 1948 Nakba from Palestinian refugee women.
