A Service of Solidarity in Commemoration of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights

On Sunday evening, December 9, 6:30pm, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 West Berry Street, we host A Service of Solidarity in Commemoration of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our keynote preacher is Rev. Graylan Hagler, Senior Minister of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, Washington, D.C., Co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign, Washington DC, and active in the Palestine solidarity movement. He was the founder of Black and Latinos in Action in Chicago, and has been Vice President of Massachusetts Civil Liberties Union, and leader of the National Council of Churches Racial Justice Working Group.
In addition to area clergy and other community leaders, also participating in the service is Luci Murphy, Music Leader of the Poor People’s Campaign, DC, and the Choir of Union Baptist Church, Fort Wayne, IN. Free, open to the public.
