Ali Paris in Concert

Dear friends of Indiana Center for Middle East Peace,

We kick off 2016, our 11th year, with an exciting concert by international recording artist, Ali Paris, a Palestinian vocalist and instrumentalist on the qanun, a 72-string lap harp.  His music fuses jazz, Arabic music, and influences from India and the Middle East.

He has played at important venues around the world, including the UN, Boston's Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center; also Istanbul, Toronto, and Madrid.  He has also performed with Bobby McFerrinAlicia Keys, and Quincy Jones.  

The Concert is Thursday, February 4, at Sweetwater, 5501 US Hwy 30 West, Fort Wayne, IN.  Arabic appetizers and sweets will be served beginning at 5:30pm and the concert begins at 6:45pm.
$25 is the suggested donation for an adult ticket, $10 for students with ID.  

Benefactors, for $250, are invited to a reception on Wednesday evening with Ali and provided with four concert tickets.

The concert's proceeds will benefit ICMEP mission partners in Palestine and Israel.
