INDIANA CENTER FOR MIDDLE EAST PEACE is excited to be hosting author Laila El-Haddad on Thursday, February 23, at the Universal Education Foundation Muslim Center, 2223 Goshen Road, 6:30-8:30pm.
Laila El-Haddad has a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
She has authored The Gaza Mom: Palestine, Politics, Parenting & Everything In-Between and The Gaza Kitchen: A Palestinian Culinary Journey , which was named Arab Cuisine Book of the Year 2012 by Gourmand magazine. It has been highly praised by renowned chef Anthony Bourdain (“an important book on an egregiously under-appreciated, under-reported area of gastronomy”).
Laila is an author, analyst, activist, parent of three, and policy advisor with the Palestinian Policy Network. Free, open to public.
